photo, 1956

Bob in 1963 enjoying a lighter moment
amidst the strife of the civil rights movement.

McComb City Hall. Bob clung for his life
to the railing on the front steps after students and SNCC volunteers were attacked by townspeople in the
fall of 1960.
The little jail that housed Bob Zellner after a mob nearly hung him in McComb. Bob was rescued from the jail shortly before it was going to be stormed by the Klan.
